A True Artist
Hello all! I believe less is more when it comes to permanent make up and smp procedure. This reads odd coming from a woman (yours truly) with such contrasting features natural black brows (a few grays) and bleach blonde hair (a LOT of gray cover up).
Why do I advocate less is more when it comes to permanent make up and smp? The skin can only withstand so much pigment and injury. For lack of a better word, a wound, trauma, injury. However, micro it is, is the method of entry for my niche skilled services, permanent make up and smp.
I frequently tell brow clients to wait a few more months before doing a yearly touch up. Many have heard me say “If you don’t need it then let’s not do it.” I am more dedicated to preserving skin’s elasticity and integrity than earning money. My tag line says I am the best woman to happen to you, meet me once and you’ll know why. This is because I’m truly all about taking care of you, sharing with you all the best tips and tricks to help you navigate life or Scottsdale…where to eat, where events/festivals are, what I saw in the headlines etc. (I originally and simultaneously featured that tagline for my business and now defunct online dating profile).
I do not sell skin care products as I don’t want clients to feel pressured and most of you all are already married to your tried-and-true skin care regiment. When I make a suggestion to use a product (even though I sell zero retail), it’s because I feel/know this product, skin care step, tweezers, lash serum, will enhance your looks, improve your skin resulting in a better you. I frequently package samples of products and package them in cute little containers to give away to those who are clients or are thinking about being my client. I do this because I want the same when I go to places for my Botox, hair, pedicures. It’s not all about the money, time is the most precious commodity. It’s never too late to learn.
I am wanting to learn to work smart, as my dad with a stellar work ethic only taught me to work hard. Back in his day there were those who worked hard…that is…you don’t stop until you finish and/or get it right.
What I offer is the pursuit of exceeding your expectation but never at the expense of your skin’s matrix, meaning I won’t overwork/over saturate your skin. At all costs, I must leave you in a better place than when you came in. I have such a blessed life. I get to enhance people’s features for a living. We listen to Dateline or comedy while I do my best work. And for some of you, you’re treated to the goofy details of my dating life. Ah, that’s a work in progress too.
I constantly invest time and money to learn the newest techniques from MULTIPLE masters in my trade. I take great pride in this. I didn’t learn SMP just one time in three days from one person. I traveled out of state to learn from the godfathers of SMP. I still attend out of state conferences to be updated on new pigments, needles, techniques, aftercare products so I may give my best, THE best, to clients.
I have been in the beauty industry for 30+ years and still know that every set of eyes, every set of brows, every eyelash, every scalp, every physical body is my walking billboard. I am always grateful for every single client, every consultation, as inspiration to be even better. I also take great pride in mentoring, providing feedback, support, and helping others in my industry.
My job is to leave clients in a better place and raise the vibration of my industry, which is to help others be even better.
I live with my two Italian Greyhound puppies and Manx cat in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Outside of the studio you can find me running around at the dog park, getting my stretch on at the yoga studio, traveling the world, or trying out Tik Tok food recipes.
